Samsung Released Dual-SIM Smartphones
Galaxy series of Smartphones from Samsung has been renowned as one of the best sereis of Android Smartphones in market. Samsung in this week added two new musketeers to the Galaxy series; Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos.
In terms of functionality, these twins are hard to differentiate from their Single SIM predecessors. However, through these dual sim Smartphones, Samsung has offered extended battery life, better display and more RAM. Let’s take a quick look at common specifications of these two devices:
- Processor: 830 MHz processor (approx)
- Operating System: Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- RAM: 384 MB
- ROM: 521 MB
- External Memory: 2 GB (expandable up to 32 GB)
- Camera: 3.1 Megapixels
- Connectivity: 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 + A2DP
Now let us see what separate these two devices. Galaxy Y Duos has screen measuring 3.1 inch and boasting a resolution of 320 x 240. Galaxy Y Pro Duos is similar to its predecessor with QWERTY keypad. It boasts a little higher resolution of 400 x 200.
These devices are expected to feature Samsung’s ChatON messenger service and Social Hub, thanks to TouchWiz UI. There is no news on price and availability of these devices but we can expect them in market by Q1 2013
