Windows 8 Beta Version To Be Launched in February 2012
Clearing all rumors those were flying around the release date of Beta version of Windows8, Microsoft has confirmed that it will be made officially available inFebruary 2012. This means fans and critics alike, will have to wait tillFebruary to test the latest version most famous operating system in the world, Windows.
Carrying a heavy burden of expectations and promising biggest overhaul of Windows Series, Microsoft is targeting Windows 8 towards desktops as well as newly evolved tablet PCs. The Windows 8 operating system offered with tablet PCs, will be seen carrying interface much like its smartphone counterpart (Windows Phone 7) having big tiles and various new features.
Microsoft also confirmed that Windows 8 Store will also make its debut alongside the upcoming Windows 8 Beta version. The new Windows 8 Store will contain applications for Windows 8, which can be downloaded freely by testers at start. Since its announcement, Windows 8 has been the center of attraction; even those who were disappointed with Microsoft’s way of handling operating system. While much less is known about Windows 8 apart from the things like its smaller loading time, new interface and other features, which were revealad by Microsoft; people who have seen it in video released by Microsoft, believe that it will be the next big thing and will surely take a big cut out of Apple’s market share.
Microsoft, after the failure of Windows Vista, recovered to some extent after people accepted Windows 7 with renewed faith on brand. But knowing, it may not prove enough to regain same place in the market Windows XP provided, Microsoft has put all its efforts in the upcoming Windows 8′s ship. People who have seen the brilliance of Windows 8 are even claiming that those who abandoned Windows based systems after Vista debacle, will embrace it back.
We know, you all are very much excited at the thought of using Windows 8 as much as anyone can and just cannot wait till February. But unfortunately, as we are not employed at Microsoft nor do we have inside access to its development centers, you will have to wait till Microsoft sees fit to release it. Meanwhile you can try developers preview released earlier by Microsoft.
