Compare Your Videos with other videos As Google Launches YouTube Slam
Last few months of this year have provided enough food for our brain to think about as many dot com and mobile companies went on launching their technological advancements in these months. Facebook launched Timeline for everyone, Google released Schemer while mobile company like Apple launched iPhone 4S. It looks like Google wants to hold no bars in alluring more customers towards it.
After Schemer, recently Google has launched YouTube Slam tool to allow users to watch and discover more videos. This new tool from Google also let users to compare two videos and get votes for them, in other terms one can rate them. YouTube Slam is designed by team of developers from Google Research and provides 5 categories to compare videos from, viz. Cute, Bizarre, Music, Comedy and Dance.
Each and every week, YouTube will update and feature new videos for each category. You can choose category from YouTube Slam’s homepage. For rating any video all you have to do is just click on a blue button situated underneath those videos. The 10 videos getting highest number of votes will feature on Slam Leaderboard. Slam Leaderboard also provides list of “Top Voters”, voters who have cast maximum votes.
If a user wishes to watch all 10 videos from Slam Leaderboard, he can do so by using “Play All” feature. So what do you think about this new move from Google? Does it add extra fun to YouTube or it will go the same way as Google Plus?
