Claimed to be Windows 8 laptop prototype, Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga is unique combination of Tablet and notebook. Highly flexible, this multimode design portable features flip and fold design. Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga can be folded to form four different design which Lenovo named as Tablet, Notebook, Stand and Tent. Names are given on basis of shape formed by notebook. It is certainly not thinnest with 16.9 mm thickness and 3.1 pounds of weight. Lenovo claims that this unique design will boost up efficiency of user in terms of usage.

In terms of tech specs, Yoga features 13 inch display boasting resolution of 1600 x 900. Such type of rotating convertible laptops have  been found weaker at its hinges since years. However, Lenovo claims Yoga features full length hinge and is tested for extreme conditions. When converted from notebook to Tablet, physical keyboard of Yoga remains in picture but in deactivated state.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga will be running Windows 8 so we can expect this one in market in second half of 2012. Intel’s Ivy Bridge series of processor will power up this machine. It is expected to feature 256 GB SSD and 8 GB max RAM capacity. Users can expect a price tag of $1,199 with this machine.
