Get Full Screen Cinematic Experience of Your Past Year on Facebook Timeline Using Microsoft’s “A Year in the Like”
Since Facebook was hailed by users all over the world back in 2009, this social networking giant never looked back! It has always made it to the news for various reasons, latest being the acquisition of Instagram.

Since it shifted all the users to new profile with Timeline, I have seen thousands of users arguing about the usefulness of newly introduced Timeline. I don’t know if it’s useful or it sucks but the reason behind this post is the Timeline feature is now main subject of newly created website by Microsoft. The website is called as “A Year in the Like”.
Microsoft reacting to the sudden surge in popularity of the social networking giant, has developed one website which plunges into the data collected by Facebook in past years and represent it in much better and more pleasing way than original Timeline feature. The presentation is done in full screen mode and this creates even more dramatic effects as this new website shows you what you have been doing on Facebook in past and what all things you have added to your Timeline.

The Microsoft powered Timeline takes you through past year automatically while you too, can control the flow using the navigation bar situated at the bottom of the screen. This navigation bar allows users to flick through any point of time while checking the associated content.
You can click on any comment that is flowing which upon clicking will display all the associated comments with your profile picture at that time. “A Year in the Like” provides you a pleasant or visual way of experiencing the entire Timeline.
Although users will not get any more features to enhance their actual Timeline experience on Facebook, I am sure they will visit this site again and again; even I have checked this website for more than couple of times. Apart from this view feature, you can share your own Timeline experience with other users while this new website from Microsoft also allows you to create a short movie comprised of your collection of comments and other things from the past. When you will go to the webpage, it will take more than a couple of minutes to load fully depending on connection speed but its worth waiting as once loaded, you will enter in another wonderful world.
You can get started with this just by giving it access to your Facebook Timeline, which you must have been doing for other apps too. The overall experience of this website and in turn our Timeline is really awesome and this website should be checked out at least once. When I checked this website, I was left nostalgic as I realized what all things have changed and what all things are same. So it is a must!!!
Did you like it? Let us know through comments and sharing as sharing is caring (at least that’s what Facebook taught me!). Anyways happy journey to your Timeline.
