Apple To Host iPad Related Event Next Week, Is iPad3 On Its Way?

Apple Inc has sent invitations to media giants for an iPad related event to be held in next week. The location for the event is Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco. It is similar venue that saw release of Apple iPhone 4S. As we reported back, Apple has decided to unveil possibly new iPad on the background of Mobile World Congress.

Invitation to media from Apple reads “We have something you really want to see. And Touch” . Date set for event is March 7. There is confusion over location of the event though as CNBC said that event will get held in New York instead of West Coast. Apple had always claimed 2010 and 2011 to be years of iPad and its true as company has sold more than 55 million iPads since its launch.

There had been many rumors regarding technical specifications of iPad3.  The biggest one has been inclusion of Retina Display boasting resolution equal to four times as that its predecessors. There were rumors about faster processors, more RAM, better camera and thinnest ever iPad3.

However, the biggest question is who will be buying iPad3? Could you be the one?
