Nokia’s 41-Megapixel Camera Takes Excellent Images [PICS]

On Monday, Nokia made many heads turn towards itself with the launch of Nokia 808 PureView which is equipped with a 41-Megapixel camera. After its launch, many criticized this phone stating “Its quality may not match to that of actual camera with 41-Megapixel lens“, but we managed to get  some stills taken from Nokia 808 PureView’s camera and to be honest, those pics are really something worth noticing!

Though higher megapixel count does not guarantees better image quality, they mean pics are data rich and thus they are more detailed. Such pics can be easily zoomed and edited. More megapixels also mean more memory and thus Nokia will need to add some support from cloud storage services as if not moved, these pics with monstrous size will eventually eat all of the phone memory. Each image we have posted below eats up to 12MB of space and these images looks just great even after scaling them down.

Nokia unveiled 808 PureView at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona. The phone will cost you around 450 Euros/$600. It will be available in Europe in coming May. Surprisingly this camera giant from Nokia utilizes symbian technology, which  was considered as dead after Nokia tie-up with Microsoft for Windows Phone 7 Operating system.

So what do you think? Is it worth the price or just being hyped about? Let us know your opinion through comments.
