Motorola Unveils DROID 4 LTE At CES 2012
Last year, we witnessed gadget market being crammed with smartphone, the New Year is promising the same thing as many companies were seen flaunting their new smartphone at CES 2012.
Yesterday at Consumer Electronic Show 2012, Motorola unveiled its DROID 4, the most powerful and thinnest 4G LTE QWERTY smartphone. This half an inch thin smartphone is integrated with dual core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB RAM. As its name suggests, Droid 4 is the fourth Verizon Wireless phone and the hottest Android smartphone that runs on 4G LTE network. Let’s have a quick glance at its features.
Along with aforementioned dual core processor, Droid 4 has Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS. Currently, it’s launched with Gingerbread flavor which can be upgraded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Talking about display, Droid 4 has a 4.0 inch qHD display with glass that is scrape and scratch resilient. Following iPhone 4S and Lumia 800, it features 8MP camera that can capture 1080p HD videos. Its mirror mode lets you enjoy these videos and images on HDTV. A five-row QWERTY keyboard with edge-lit keys are specially designed so that you can type fast even in the dark.
Droid 4 presents tremendous fast Web browsing experience, online collaboration and video streaming with lightning-fast speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps within 4G LTE Mobile Broadband coverage areas. Its on-board memory is 16GB and it provides support for up to 32GB microSD card.

What’s more? Motorola also unveiled the DROID RAZR MAXX, which according to Verizon is longest-lasting smartphone in the market. Its 8.9mm thick with 32GB storage and its battery is expected to last for 21 hours.
