How to Restore Your iPod Touch When Something Goes Wrong

 Having problems with your iPod touch?  Doesn’t it function well while loading the apps or playing the music? Then your system must have become unstable and needs some retouch to restore your iPod to the original healthy condition. Here I am going to describe a quick but comprehensive process to restore your device back to its form.

Steps

1. To initiate the process go to Settings \ General \ Reset.  Then hit on ‘Reset all Settings’.
2. Your device will ask you to confirm whether you really want to start the process or not. Give affirmative reply. Your device will undergo a restart and then begin the process.
3. After restarting the iPod, connect to a Wi-Fi or any internet connection to get access of the apps.
4. After establishing connection with the internet, connect your device with a computer for backing up your important files. Then open iTunes and select your device form the source panel.
5. Hit the right click and select back-up. It generally takes a few minutes to back up your device. However it may take some time if the amount of information is large.
6. Next, click on ‘Restore’ button under the Summary tab in the Version Box. Then a dialog box will appear that will ask you if you want the restore process to start. Click on ‘Restore’.
7. Please take care of the fact that you have to purchase those items again that you have bought from iTunes if you opt for restoring your device. In that situation, the back-up that you have done will facilitate you to run them without buying them. That is why we have done the back up before.
8. Then click on ‘Continue’.
9. Your restoring option will now start off.
10. It will be completed in a few minutes and ads a result you will be guided to choose some home screen for your iPod. Choose it. Also set the current date and time.
11. Your device is correctly restored and you should face no more glitches.
