Facebook Website Design – From 2004 to 2011

Today if we ask any college going kid, what all things you do on internet, Facebook is sure to top all results. In last 3 years, Facebook has emerged as best social networking website so far with more than few millions users creating their account every day. Mark Zukerberg designed site keeping only his friends in mind but it turned out to be the next big thing.

The thing that gave Facebook leading edge on Orkut was its ability to grow. Since its inception, multiple changes were introduced in original design making it even more user-friendly and open unlike Orkut. Mark Zukerberg and his team kept constantly updating everything related to Facebook and as a result Facebook easily brushed aside Orkut from its way.

I don’t know, when did you joined Facebook but it will amuse you, how much Facebook has actually changed since 2004. Here are some snaps, which we found on internet and thought everyone ought to see them.

Although we can clearly see that Facebook has changed a lot in past 7 years, many users I have seen complaining that the latest TimeLine feature is a mess and Facebook is going in wrong way. As a matter of fact, I also didn’t like it much but what else can we do other than posting things on our wall?
