HTC Jetstream vs Apple iPad 2
There is no doubt that both HTC Jetstream and Apple iPad 2 are highly respected name in the world of classic cellular tablet. While HTC is dying to prove that they are the one to design the world’s very first tablet with next generation 4G LTE, Apple are also working hard to popularize their new 32 GB 3G enabled version of iPad 2. Design
Though at the first glance both the HTC Jetstream and Apple iPad 2 looks quite similar, if we take a closer look at them, it’s the apple iPad that win deservedly. It has got a touch of sophistication providing a sleek feeling in the hand. On the other side, the HTC Jetstream is a plump one. Moreover the iPad 2 is able to confine itself in much shorter space than the Jetstream. The iPad is also lighter in comparison to the HTC Jetstream.
Resolution
The Apple iPad 2 has got an 9.7 inches IPS display with a resolution of 1024*768px, while on the other hand the Jetstream has got a resolution of 1080*768px with an 10.1 inches LED display. Talking practically, the picture quality is more or less same in both tablets. But iPad 2 delivers better picture quality in direct sunlight due to extra brightness of its screen. It produces highly natural and vivid colors in comparison to the Jetstream.
Processor and Ram
HTC Jetstream has a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The RAM capacity is 1GB. While Apple iPad 2 has 1 GHz dual core processor with 512 MB of RAM.
Camera
Jetstream has got a 1.3 megapixel camera for video chatting (secondary camera), while the iPad 2 has 0.3 megapixel (VGA) camera on its front panel. Obviously video chatting experience will be better in Jetstream.
Also Jetstream has 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash at the back while the iPad only has got a 1Mp camera with it. There is no doubt that picture and video capturing quality will be better in the HTC Jetstream.
Price
The price of HTC Jetstream is $849.99. The price is more because it is the AT &T’s first 4G LTE enabled tablet. On the other hand, Apple iPad 2 is somewhat cheaper than the other as it is available in range of $429 to $829.
