When “Angry Birds” was launched, hardly anyone took notice. And understandably no one cared about the birds and the reason behind their anger. But later the game struck the chord with smartphone users all over the world and as they say, the rest is history.
Personally I didn’t feel that the game was worth such attention when I heard about it, but when I played it on my friend’s insistence; I played it for straight two hours. After launching many new levels and a totally new arena for the birds to vent their anger (Angry Birds Space), the Rovio studio is back with a bang.
However this time it’s not “Angry Birds”. This time game developers at Rovio have come up with a new game called as “Amazing Alex”. Just like “Angry Birds”, this new game too starts with very easy levels which can be completed in mere seconds. The first few levels just serve the purpose of guiding player through various elements and explaining him the gameplay.
The game is pretty difficult to explain but in layman’s terms, you need to get your work done which can be anything, from cleaning your room to battling cardboard robots in backyard. While doing this, you can create chain reactions to get the job done more easily. So you can use various things like balloons, book shelves, gadgets placed around Alex to create chain reaction and complete the challenge.
Each level contains stars which need to be taken for earning points. Your goal is to take as much stars as possible while completing the mission. Though Amazing Alex doesn’t hit the chord right away since the start, it does leave a soothing and lasting impression on your mind.
The game is currently available for Android and iOS gadgets (Download links given below). The game has more than 100 levels which are sure to keep you occupied at least for a week. What we suggest is try out the free version which has 16 levels before getting a premium version as it will cost you $0.99. iPad HD users can also buy its HD version for $2.99.
